In September 2004, the Kuypers family moved from Burnaby to Kelowna and in the Spring of 2005 they were delighted to open The Kelowna Flower Farm for business.
Barry Kuypers is well known for Mandeville Garden Centre - his family's reputable 60-year old business, which he owned and operated until 1999.
In Spring 2007 Barry's son, DJ Bryan, a Certified Horticulturist, joined The Kelowna Flower Farm team. Currently, DJ is proud to work aside family and runs the centre's retail area.
