Kelowna Hanging Baskets
The Kelowna Flower Farm takes pride in growing all hanging baskets on the farm. There are approximately 2,000 baskets, with varieties chosen from previous years that have been tested and have proven to thrive in the Okanagan.
Baskets are available in the following colour combinations:
- Mediterranean: bold reds, blues and yellows
- Victorian: light pinks, purples and whites
- Simply White, Plus One: white, with one colour added
- Spring Bouquet: a medley of colors, including yellows, oranges, reds, purples and pinks
Baskets are also available in an assortment of types and sizes, including:
- 14-inch plastic to extra, extra large (XXL) moss baskets
- 6 and 10-gallon wrought iron baskets
Our new and visually appealing wrought iron baskets are intended to provide the eco-conscious with a reusable container for their annual baskets.
The Kelowna Flower Farm basket growing begins in early January and baskets are pre-sold to the public when the Farm opens in early April. This allows you to come in and pick out the exact basket that you would like. When the risk of frost is gone, in mid-May, your basket is fully-grown and ready for you to pick up and integrate into its new home.
